After decades of dedicated service at the Lab of Ecology and Conservation, Professor Suwarno has retired. Throughout his career, he inspired countless students, advanced scientific understanding of riverine ecosystems, and left a lasting legacy on our department. To celebrate the beginning of the next chapter of his life, we gathered in the lab to share good food and recount stories of his time here, many of which hadn't been heard before.
